Assignment and job description in this role:
Daily communication with foreign suppliers and customers regarding customs issues (not only in writing, but also by phone)
Ensuring smooth customs clearance for import and export
Cooperation and maintaining communication with customs declarants and customs authorities
ensure the classification of goods according to the customs code (preferential calculation and certification of the origin of goods)
Monitoring of current customs regulations and tariffs
Processing of Intrastat reports (customs KPI scorecards)
Support for strategic customs initiatives and export controls

Requirements
at least 3 years of experience in a similar position in customs or logistics, ideally in the automotive industry
active knowledge of English for daily communication (German is an advantage)
at least secondary education with a high school diploma
detailed knowledge of EU customs union regulations and standards
PC skills (MS OFFICE, SAP is an advantage)
Time flexibility and willingness to take responsibility
