Who we are

The Security Department at innogy Czech Republic creates an expert network of experts in the field of personal data protection. We provide services across innogy companies in the Czech Republic and within the group of the Hungarian company MVM.
We are the point of contact for all questions, prepare strategies, concepts, guidelines and methodologies, and ensure compliance with legislative requirements for the protection of personal data of customers, employees and business partners.

We are looking for a colleague to join our team for the position of Junior Specialist – Data Protection (deputy for MD/RD), who will help us maintain a high standard of personal data protection and legislative compliance.

What you will do:

• Support the DPO (Data Protection Officer) in the development and modification of processes.
• Keep mandatory documentation resulting from the GDPR.
• Participate in the implementation of processes and their compliance with the GDPR.
• To monitor new legislation and opinions related to the protection of personal data.
• To provide reporting and information in accordance with the GDPR and Act No. 110/2019 Coll.
• Support the processing of complaints and requests, communicate with the authorities.
• To cooperate in the evaluation of technical and organizational measures.
• Provide support in concluding processing contracts with external partners as well as employment contracts.

What we expect from you:

• Secondary education with a high school diploma (university in the field of law, economics, IT).
• Basic knowledge of personal data protection issues and a desire to develop further.
• Knowledge of English (both spoken and written).
• Analytical skills, structured approach and diligence.
• Independence, flexibility and reliability.
• Communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Team spirit and openness to innovation.
