IT Security Specialist
Place of work: Prague or Brno.
The Security Department at innogy brings together experts in cyber and information security 🔐. Our goal is to protect customers, employees, partners and data of all innogy Group companies in the Czech Republic and to develop security strategies and technologies across the company.
We are looking for a Cyber Security Architect to join our team to help develop and maintain a high level of protection against cyber threats in accordance with the Cyber Security Act (ZoKB), NIS2 and international standards.
⚙️ What awaits you:
- Design and implementation of security measures within IT/OT (especially OT - operational technology in industry / SCADA).
- Cooperation with IT/OT teams on the design of new solutions (security by design).
- Design and optimization of security technologies to increase the resilience of the environment.
- Cooperation on the implementation of tools such as FW/WAF, EDR/XDR, SIEM, IAM, cloud security (AWS).
- Support in managing security risks and creating policies, directives and processes.
- Active participation in the development of innogy's security architecture and strategies.
- Communication of proposals with IT, business partners and management.
💡 What we expect from you:
- University education (ideally IT or applied informatics).
- Min. 2 years of experience in IT/OT security.
- Overview of IT and OT environments (networks, servers, databases, PLC, SCADA, IoT).
- Practical experience with technologies: FW/WAF, encryption, certificates, MFA, EDR/XDR, SIEM, cloud security (AWS).
- Knowledge of ISO 27k, NIST 800-82, ISA/IEC 62443, ČSN EN IEC 61508 standards.
- Knowledge of the Cyber Act and related decrees.
- The ability to clearly explain technical topics even to non-technical stakeholders.
- Czech at the level of a native speaker, English at a professional level.
- Strong interest in cybersecurity and modern architectures.
Advantage:
- Certifications (e.g. GICSP, GRID, GCIP).
- Experience in supplier management or network monitoring.
- Experience in network security, patch management or vulnerability management.
