We are looking for a key member of the Data & Business Intelligence team to design and develop data architecture across the organization. Do you enjoy working with data and want to influence how data will be used in business processes? Then this position is just for you!

What will you do with us?

• Participate in IT data transformation at innogy and in the implementation of a data strategy.
• Design and document data architecture for analytical and operational purposes: maintain the overall innogy data landscape, the structure of its data domains, owners and key entities, manage relevant models at the necessary levels (conceptual, logical or physical) including data flows and data lineages.
• Understand the data sources where the data is created and maintained.
• Define data products, combine data from different source systems across domains.
• Define data models, structures, and standards for data storage and transmission.
• Design and document data movements, ways of transforming data during movement, aggregation or calculations.
• Identify opportunities for the use of data in business processes and provide technical consultations in the design of data solutions. Engage in architectural discussions, collaborate with stakeholders and customers to understand data needs.
• Create methodologies, sample models, and templates for a uniform description of data structures, regions, and flows.
• Facilitate collaboration between the data team and business units.
• To support change management in the field of data culture.
• Follow new technologies and trends in the field of data architecture.

What should your profile be?

• You have experience in data architecture design and data model creation (conceptual, logical, physical).
• You have experience in Data Engineering from a modern DWH cloud (ideally Snowflake).
• You are familiar with databases, data warehousing, and integration technologies.
• You have knowledge of modern data architectures and principles (Data Mesh, Data Lakehouse, Data Products).

• You are a business partner for owners and stewards of data domains.
• You understand the principles of Data Governance, Data Quality, security and scalability of data solutions.
• Strong analytical thinking, ability to communicate across IT and business teams.
• A university degree in IT or relevant experience.
• Czech: native speaker, English: reading technical documentation.

What is your advantage?
